After years of decline, young South Koreans’ willingness to marry and have children appears to be rebounding in a big way.
According to the recent survey by the Presidential Committee on Ageing Society and Population Policy 저출산고령사회위원회, 65.7% of unmarried adults said they felt positive about marriage, and 62.6% said they felt positive about having children - increases of 9.8% and 12.6%, respectively, from the same survey two years ago.
