With the political discourse focusing more on the conservative turn of men in their 20s, the public behavior of the young men fueled by aggressive misogyny is becoming even more paranoid and obnoxious. (See previous coverage, “Send in the Incels.”)

The latest incel obsession is the hand gesture with the index finger and the thumb, which according to the sexists is the gesture used by “radical feminists” to mock the size of their genitals. This has led to calls to boycott any product that advertises by showing a hand. The latest casualty is BBQ Chicken BBQ치킨, whose ad showed a hand picking up a small sausage. BBQ Chicken issued an apology, promising “more careful review” and “strong response.”
