For two weeks in a row in the regular weekly Gallup Korea poll in the last two weeks of April, the approval rating for Yoon Suk-yeol 윤석열 당선인 was lower than the approval for the outgoing president Moon Jae-in 문재인 대통령.

In the regular poll for the third week of April, Moon's approval was 44%, while Yoon's approval was 42%. In the poll for the fourth week of April, Moon's approval was 45%, Yoon's approval 43%.
